Chicago Public Library Village of Stories 2018 Volunteer Registration

Village of Stories is an event celebrating the power of stories through make believe play, crafts and real live storytellers. Volunteers must be excited about make believe play, storytelling and have previous experience working with children ages 3 to 11.

This event takes places on Saturday, November 17 at Harold Washington Library Center--HWLC (400 S. State Street, Chicago, IL 60605) in the Winter Garden on the 9th floor.

Volunteer check-in is from 10:15 - 10:45 am. Once checked in, volunteers should assist with set-up which will be in progress. The event opens to the public at 11 am and runs until 3 pm. Volunteers are also expected to assist with clean-up until approximately 3:30 pm.
